Microgrant Program
The NRVHBA Microgrant Program provides funding for special projects and/or materials within elementary and secondary classrooms that aligns with the workforce development interests of the home building and construction industry. The NRVHBA hopes that this program can provide the opportunity for teachers to enhance their curriculum, maximize opportunities for their students, and encourage interest in construction trades careers.
Teachers and/or CTE Directors will be required, as part of their application, to describe how their project helps to either raise awareness of careers in the construction trades or give students practical experience in a trade that they can use outside of the classroom.
Applicants can apply for up to $2,000 per project once per year. The grant has two funding cycles.
